Hunger

The Greatest Pandemic On The Planet

The Volf Goes To War

Fight Hunger

For 12 years, the Vild Velvet Volf has selflessly organized the advocacy of going to war against the greatest pandemic of them all - Hunger, inspiring others with the joy of giving.

You can make a difference. 🐾

How It All Started

The philanthropic activities were triggered when he first came to the Philippines.

That's when he realized that, there is a very high level of poverty in the country. And unfortunately, the government doesn't seem to be doing much about it.

That's what compelled him to see, what he could personally do in return for this community. So he tried his best to give to others. This Joy of giving is when you live for others. He is making a difference even though it's microscopic.

26K Meals Given In A Month

Inspired by his generosity, a joint effort was made to feed more than 26,000 individuals in Dubai during the period of Ramadan when the Muslim Community fasts.

So for that, they organized as a group and managed to accumulate enough funds for a few members of the Muslim Community.

The thin line of callousness between the rich and the poor

~

This little friend of mine waits for me outside the Bakery every day at 4 pm sharp. She would grab my paw and drag me across the street.  With a 6 million dollar smile, she would point out to the ice cream shelf. Just her happiness is worth more than the world for me.  She can ask me for anything expensive as well. But it's always the 2 AED cone or cup. 🐺

Adil's Sanctuary of Grace

He was friends with a pastor, who runs a church and gave as a donation his entire courtyard in Pangasinan as a sanctuary to accommodate the children.

His wife makes the food for all these children on a weekly basis. They all come there and enjoy their day. With Pastor Jun Quemada's unfortunate passing a couple of years ago, by the grace of God, his daughter Sheila and son-in-law Raphael run this program for him. They turned this little Sanctuary into an educational platform for the underprivileged children whose parents cannot afford proper schooling. And it's in the loving memory of his late brother, Adil who died of cancer.

It now has about 55 children, coming over there. They learn bible studies, music, dancing, sports, and arts and crafts.

Celebrating Adil's Memories

Fight for Life

In an article written by Talea Safvi and published by Gulf News, Fight for life - I am a fighter, unafraid of defeat, says Parvaiz.

Life took me to the edge and almost pushed me over but I fought my way back. I am a fighter, unafraid of defeat. Thanks to this attitude and to God's blessings, I have faced death but am alive to tell my story.

Proceeds collected from the sale of the book will be donated to charity.

Talking Fear

In an article by Kazi Najib Ashraf, his message to his readers is to slow down and eliminate fears of all kinds from one's life.

Move from being a God-fearing to a God-loving person and see the magic transform your life altogether. Live a moral life out of love and not out of fear.

The Power of Empathy

In a conversation on Wise Wednesdays with RK, the Vild Velvet Volf is a vibrant soul with a hearty laugh and a child-like outlook on life.

He is a banker by profession and a wolf to the core. His journey of how he became an author, what happened that changed him and how he brings his wisdom to touch lives is going to be a fascinating unfold in this conversation.

The Volf prowls in India

Dear friends,

I've now started a new chapter in India.  In collaboration with my friend, Chef 👩‍🍳 Dilshad Merchant.  She has gracefully agreed to help with my feeding programme.  Upon my catering order, she will be cooking whatever she so desires and shall distribute to the poor and needy.  Those who want to join me in this crusade,  are more than welcome to contact me.  The more people join me,  the more I can feed. Always remember.  Hunger is the deadliest pandemic known to mankind since the beginning of time.  🐾🐾🐺

The Vild Velvet Volf seeks your support.

P.S. Next year we will venture into Pakistan 🇵🇰.  I am tying up with my friend and celebrity chef 👨‍🍳 Zarnak Sidhwa.

A villager to the core. They managed to get the boy out of the village, but could never get the village out of the boy. His best friends have always been, wolves, foxes, sheep, butterflies, caterpillars, anteaters, snakes, and scorpions.
